Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Albert Zak began to play the piano at four and was, at the time, the youngest person enrolled in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Zak is an international student of piano and now calls New York home. He has performed at Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall, the Chopin Society of NY and the Polish Consulate in NYC and on May 17 he returns to Toronto to perform at Roy Thomson Hall.
