Roy Thomson Hall presents
After touring in more than fifteen countries over the past year, Montreal pianist Jean-Michel Blais will begin a series of concerts to close the tour for his album Dans ma main, performing at Roy Thomson Hall on January 21st. Recipient of the Liberia Award for Best Classical Music Album and short listed for the Polaris Music Prize, this album has reached many music lovers around the world with its unique style.
This concert will also be a unique opportunity to discover, for the first time in a live setting, the compositions of the soundtrack of Matthias and Maxime (directed by Xavier Dolan), recipient of an honorary award during at the Cannes Soundtrack which happens during the Film Festival where the movie was premiered. This show will also be exceptional as the audience will be invited to join Jean-Michel on stage and be very close to him during the performance.
This concert will complete a memorable year for the pianist and is an exceptional opportunity to be conquered by the captivating universe of Jean-Michel Blais.
